Fire Alarm Zone Plans

Fire Alarm Zone Plan
BS5839-1:2013
It is required that all fire alarm systems, regardless of their size need to have a Fire Alarm Zone Plan displayed. Failure to display an up to date plan will be noted as a major non compliance.
To paraphrase the standard…
On or adjacent to indicating equipment (this means the fire alarm panel), there should be a diagrammatic representation of the building, showing at least the building entrances, the main circulation areas and the division into zones.
A zone plan for a fire detection and alarm system is a basic layout of the building showing :
  • Building levels;
  • Fire exits; and
  • Lifts and shafts.
How do you get a Zone Plan ?
It helps if you have a drawing of your building preferably in CAD format. This can the have the fire alarm zones overlaid in easily identifiable colours and key to identify each zone number.
Pricing from as little as £40.
For a single floor with 4 zones.
Whats in the Price ?
Included in the package we offer is :
  • Design of the fire alarm zone plans from supplied details;
  • Clear and easy to read Alarm Zone Plan drawings that meet current standards;
  • A3 or A4 Colour print of completed plans; and
  • A3 or A4 aluminium snap frame for display.
